Stephanie Wilson Coordinator, Vascular Sonography and her students at South Hills School of Business & Technology
How did you arrange for your school to become a Signature School?
I was able to incorporate the SVU membership fee into their yearly lab fees and utilize the Journal for Vascular Ultrasound (JVU) as a required reading.
How does SVU help supplement your lesson plans?
We use JVU as reading material and I assign CME tests as homework. In addition, students watch the webinars related to their current coursework.
What value do your students receive from SVU?
The students are able to see real life and relevant case studies and articles in both JVU and the webinars. The resources provide a reference for their papers and an example of how case studies should be presented.
Why should schools become a Signature School?
Becoming an SVU Signature School shows that schools commitment to the professional growth and education of their students.
