Personal Statement

As an officer serving the SVU, I intend to ensure the financial integrity of the organization while expanding future financial opportunities and partnerships with existing and future vendors. We are on a new journey, and with these uncharted waters, we will undoubtedly encounter rough waters. I want to make sure the SVU keeps moving forward and progresses with these changing times; I want to make sure SVU members are truly getting the most out of their membership dues.

The key to achieving this goal is building relationships with students and schools and expanding the membership base. Our members have several choices of where to earn CME and where to engage in fellowship, so it’s crucial we let them know we are their best option. We also need to keep our existing members, and to do that requires constant engagement.

Having Ewald as our partner and now proudly recognizing those individuals as members of the SVU family is a significant step, and we will rely on their resources to truly demonstrate to SVU members what we are capable of doing. I am a fierce advocate for the health and safety of sonographers and love talking about how new technology will make the lives of sonographers easier and better!

If folks vote for me and want me to continue to represent the interests of SVU members, I will not let you down, so please consider me as a candidate.
