SVU Legacy Sub-Committee
The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) recognizes the importance of preserving the history of our profession and identified the need for the SVU Legacy Lecture Series. The Legacy Sub-Committee will identify and solicit lectures representing the history of the actions and contributions of our members and others, including initiatives that will continue the advancement of our profession. Archiving of lectures pertaining to the development of the vascular technology profession will preserve the foundation, provide education and sharing of knowledge with open access on this site.
The formation of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound’s Legacy Sub-Committee is to identify and archive contributions from members, both past and present, and technology which provide and preserve timeless insights into the evolution of the profession of vascular technology and the SVU. By doing so, the Legacy Sub-Committee forms an on-going catalogue of people and technology and elicits their contributions and impact on our profession, from its inception to current day. This ultimately provides the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the many people of diverse backgrounds who have made the profession of vascular ultrasound and technology what it is today.
