This webinar will discuss an unusual use of the vascular lab: locating pelvic perforators. Using two case studies we will look at the ability of the vascular lab to view these vessels as well as the value of assessing these vessels for wound reconstruction.
Upon completion of this course, attendees should be prepared to:
- Define keystone island perforator flaps and their use in wound reconstruction.
- Discuss the role of the vascular lab in identifying perforators for flap usage.
- Identify some of the vessels used in pelvic wound reconstruction
