The Governance Committee oversees nominations, elections, selection and appointment of Board and Executive Committee members.

Duties include:

  • Assists the President in the selection and appointment of committee chairs and co-chairs.
  • Annually recruit and nominate candidates for open board positions
  • Annually oversee election process.
  • Make recommendations for open Board, Executive Committee and At-Large positions.
  • Assist the President in appointing Physician and Student Board Representatives.
  • Address issues or questions relating to SVU governance as they arise.
