The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) is a community of vascular ultrasound healthcare professionals dedicated to high quality care and improving patient outcomes through education, advocacy, research and growth of the field. Beginning January 1, 2025, we bid farewell to four valued members of the SVU Board of Directors and warmly welcome new members to the Board.
“On behalf of the entire organization, I would like to thank Jacqueline Ortiz, Gabrial Folmar, Dr. Laurence Needleman and David Murray for their time, dedication and leadership on the SVU Board of Directors,” said Joshua Lee, SVU President. “Their contributions and guidance have been invaluable in advancing the vascular ultrasound profession.”
As we enter 2025, we welcome the following new Board of Directors:
Jeanne White-Melendez will serve a three-year term (2025-2027) as a Technologist Director. Jeanne resides in Florida. She works as the Program Director at ESP Ultrasound, serves as President and Co-Founder of Quality Vascular Imaging, Inc., as well as a Professional Speaker.
Colton Taylor will serve a one-year term as an At Large Director. Colton recently held the SVU Student Director position on the Board. He resides in Nevada and works for Renown Regional Medical Center.
Sean Roddy, MD will serve a three-year term (2025-2027) as Physician Director. Dr. Roddy works in the Albany Medical Center Division of Vascular Surgery in New York. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine.
Brandon Keys will serve a three-year term (2025-2027) as Industry Partners Director. Brandon resides in South Carolina. He currently works for Aidoc as the Enterprise Cardiovascular AI Consultant.
Cassandra Salyer will be serving a one-year term as the SVU Student Director. She currently attends The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“We are excited to welcome these individuals to the SVU Board of Directors,” said Joshua. “I’m confident they will bring fresh energy and innovative ideas as we look ahead to 2025.”
