The Society for Vascular Ultrasound Foundation (SVUF) provides support for the community of vascular health care professionals through various methods, including the Anne Jones Educational Scholarship. This year we are pleased to announce the 2024 SVUF recipients.
The Anne Jones Educational Scholarship was established in 2005 and was named after Anne Jones, RN, BSN RVT RDMS FSVU in recognition of her leadership as former SVU President (1985-1986), and her commitment to quality education. Annually, the Anne Jones Educational Scholarship Fund provides four qualified students in CAAHEP accredited vascular ultrasound schools with funds toward their education in vascular ultrasound and encourages them to pursue careers in the field.
This year’s recipients are:
- Ashley Christine Melancon, Class of 2025, Oregon Institute of Technology (Klamath Falls, OR) – Grand Prize
- Alexis Pesina, Class of 2025, Rush University (Chicago, IL)
- Devin Krick, Class of 2024, South Hills School of Business & Technology (State College, PA)
- Sandra Dybala, Class of 2025, Rush University (Chicago, IL)
